BEN NEVIS AND SURROUNDS

This is a mountain close to Ben Nevis. Ben Nevis is the highest mountain in Scotland and is hidden behind this one and the mist. This range is located near Fort William. The tree in the photo is a Holly tree covered with red berries.

The one good thing about having light rain is rainbows appear! It rained the whole weekend when we wandered some of the lower Highlands but we did see lots of bright rainbows. This one appeared near the road just after Fort William in the direction of Inverness. a rainbow lighting up grey skied countryside
